strength does not looks like solitude.

We Think We Have to Do This Alone… But What If We Don’t?

"A single arrow is easily broken, but not ten in a bundle." — Japanese Proverb

Sometimes it's hard to be someone who holds it all together — for yourself and for others — especially when there's no one else to share the load with.

Maybe you grew up in a home where support wasn't guaranteed. Where love was conditional, or complicated, or simply absent. If so, you know what it means to build yourself from the ground up — and how lonely that road can be.

But here's what I've come to believe: family isn't only the one you're born into.

Sometimes, your people are the friends who show up at 2am. The community that sees you before you see yourself. The strangers who became your safe place. The chosen ones — not by blood, but by something deeper.

And when you find them? Life feels brighter and more grounded.

There's a change that happens when you stop pushing your way through life alone. When you allow yourself to be part of something.

Not just an "I" striving in isolation — but a "We," moving together with intention, grace, and perhaps a little smile, knowing you can share your news and laugh about it no matter how tough the situation is, with somebody who will understand you.

I think of how many of us have been taught — either by circumstance or by culture — that needing others is a weakness. That asking for help means you've failed. That strength looks like solitude.

But real strength? Real strength knows when to reach for help.

It knows that going fast alone might feel powerful for a season. But going far — building something that lasts, living a life that matters, healing in ways that last — that's the work of many, the work of our chosen community.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." — African Proverb

So if you've been carrying something heavy lately, perhaps think of who could help carry it with you.

Not because you're not strong enough — but because you are. Fiercely, undeniably strong, wise, and capable.

Because you were never meant to do this alone. None of us were.

Find your tribe, your family of friends, your community. Hold each other. And see how much further you go — together.

You've got this. 👑

Keep shining and keep smiling ✨️✨️

Have a super powerful day 🏆
